The 2025 JAX Urban Book Fest will be held January 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Where is the festival?

The festival will be held at James Weldon Johnson Park, 135 Monroe Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.

How much does it cost to attend?

The Author Showcase is free and open to the public. The festival costs are underwritten by the generous donations of individuals and corporations in our community.

What are the Masterclass Sessions?

Masterclass Sessions are intended for aspiring authors wanting to learn more about the book industry. These sessions are FREE as an add-on to event registration.

We regularly brag about the fantastic authors who are a part of JUBF on our Facebook page and Instagram. We also keep you posted on upcoming events, ticket sale dates and schedule changes. We begin announcing the keynote speaker and Author Showcase authors in the fall. Be sure to follow us so that you’ll be in the know.
